Site Coordinator


The Boys & Girls Club is a nonprofit looking for a fun, organized, youth professional to join our Sheboygan Falls team! This role will allow you to work part-time making a difference in the lives of youth.

The Site Coordinator is someone who is -

  • Experienced in working with youth
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to effectively communicate with kids, families, and teammates
  • Comfortable working with a sense of urgency
  • Ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in when needed

The Site Coord must be a motivator, highly flexible, remain calm and solve problems in stressful situations. The Site Coord must excel at program planning and have a solid understanding of youth development and behavioral management.

The Site Coordinator oversees all daily program operations to ensure a safe and positive Club environment for our members.

Primary responsibilities include -

Program Development & Implementation

  • Plan fun, engaging programs and activities for elementary-age youth
  • Ensure program content is relevant, safe, inclusive, and supports program goals
  • Model outstanding program delivery for other staff
  • Evaluate programs and recommend modifications to achieve desired outcomes and respond to member needs and interests
  • Oversee the application of the Boys & Girls Club Behavior Management approach, coaching staff and leading by example

Health, Safety, Facility

  • Oversee daily program operations to ensure activities run efficiently and on schedule, with appropriate staff/member ratios
  • Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe environment is established at the start and end of each day
  • Recommend and process requisitions for program supplies


  • Manage the day to day activities of assigned volunteers; provide ongoing feedback; and identify and support development opportunities within BGCSC
  • Assist with staff and volunteer training to support program requirements
  • May provide supervision and oversight to staff in the absence of the Unit Director

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
  • College degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of two years experience in planning and implementing youth programs (required)
  • Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications (will train)
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license
  • Computer and software literacy

Rate of Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour, based on experience


Youth Development Professional


Do you want to work in a fun, team-driven environment? Do you love working with young people to help them learn and grow? Come join the Boys & Girls Club team!

Our Youth Development Professionals (YDP) deliver programming in one or two areas such as: Learning Center, Gym, Games Room, Computer Lab, and Art Room. The majority of responsibilities are working directly with youth, ensuring their safety, well-being and development through interactive play and planned activities.

The YDP is self-motivated, mature, energetic, and able to maintain clear and healthy boundaries with Club members, parents and staff; able to communicate and interact with youth in a way that is age appropriate, motivational and positive. The YDP must be flexible, have the ability to adapt to a work environment that changes often, must remain calm and solve problems in stressful situations. The YDP must anticipate and implement all elements of activities in an organized fashion.


School Year: Mon-Fri approximately 2:00p-7:00p


  • Establish a program setting that ensures the health and safety of our members
  • Understand and implement the youth development strategy
  • Provide strong guidance and role-modeling to all members
  • Welcome and register new members and participate in the Club Orientation process
  • Implement and monitor quality programs and activities that are inclusive and FUN
  • Ensure program content supports goals and organization mission
  • Identify and recruit members for individual programs
  • Support members in meeting targeted program outcomes
  • Make certain programs and activities occur daily as scheduled
  • Take pride in work and appearance, both personal and of the Club and program areas
  • Ensure space, equipment and supplies are ready before programs begin, and at the conclusion of each day that everything is organized and well-maintained


  • Has a desire to work with kids

  • Basic knowledge of youth development
  • Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior challenges

  • Ability to conduct on-the-go projects and activities

  • Experience working with youth, preferably in an organized program setting
  • Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications (will offer training)

Pay Rate:

  • $10.00-$12.00  (based on experience)
