Club Celebrates After-School Professionals Week with Visit from Mayor
This April 19-23, we’re proud to celebrate After School Professionals Appreciation Week! It’s a time to recognize, appreciate and advocate for those who work with young people during out-of-school hours. To kick off the week, we welcomed new Mayor Ryan Sorenson at our Jefferson Elementary Club!
Mayor Sorenson helped deliver gifts to staff, including cookies decorated with the Club logo. He also got to check out the latest class in a series of art-based curriculum where kids practiced different water color techniques.
After School Professionals deserve appreciation for all that they do to enhance education, promote physical and emotional health, build character, provide a safe environment, and expose youth to new experiences.
